National League, Premier Division: Pat Fenlon's move to Bohemians collapsed yesterday despite the club's belief that the two parties had reached agreement on all the main points of his terms earlier this week.

In a statement issued through Shelbourne, Fenlon said he would be staying in his current job "for the foreseeable future" and that he is intent on leading the club to another title success this season.

Fenlon was initially believed to have told Bohemians officials he wanted to see out the current season after at first agreeing to move immediately.

It is believed there may have been some friction between the two parties with regard to the possibility that a number of former Bohemians players might follow him back to Dalymount.

Asked about the situation earlier yesterday Bohemians president Gerry Cuffe said: "We are anxious to have somebody in place as soon as possible and we are continuing with the process of finding the right person.

"We've been inundated with applications and we will review how things stand on Monday night, he added."

Shelbourne visit Richmond Park this evening when Owen Heary and Jason Byrne are expected to be fit enough to take a place on the bench.

The home side should have John Frost, Mark Quigley and Stephen Quigley available for the match but Michael Foley remains a doubt due to a hamstring problem.

Cork City, meanwhile, have a full squad bar George O'Callaghan available to them as they look to build on their fine midweek win in Sligo in this evening's home game against Bohemians.

The Dubliners are likely to be without injured trio Dessie Byrne, Mark Leech and Vinny Arkins.

(all 7.45 unless stated).

Premier Division: Bray Wanderers v Longford Town, Cork City v Bohemians, St Patrick's Athletic v Shelbourne (Live, TG4), Waterford United v UCD.

First Division: Dundalk v Finn Harps, Athlone Town v Limerick, Shamrock Rovers v Cobh Ramblers (8.0).
