Michael Stoute has ruled Sagitta 1,000 Guineas third Exclusive out of the Irish equivalent at the Curragh, a week next Saturday.

He has decided to rest the filly, beaten five lengths behind Cape Verdi at Newmarket last Sunday, and wait for Royal Ascot instead.

"I'd think she will go next for the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot," the trainer said.

"She won't go for the Irish Guineas as I want to give her a bit of a break."
