THE mystery surrounding Kenny Dalglish's links with Glasgow Rangers is as deep as ever. In Dublin yesterday for the launch of his new book, Dalglish - My Autobiography, Dalglish would give no hints regarding the present situation in relation to a move to Ibrox Park.
The former Scottish international and manager of Liverpool and Blackburn Rovers was full of praise for his former striker at Anfield, John Aldridge, and he defended his decision to retire from international football taken after the Republic's game with Iceland last Sunday.
"Preparations for internationals are now taking four to five days and as a club manager, he obviously felt he could not afford to be away for that length of time.
"Aldridge obviously feels his first commitment is to the club."
. Dalglish - My Autobiography, is published by Hodder and Stuughton, price £16.99.
