Tipperary 2-12 London 1-18:Tipperary manager Peter Creedon insisted his side can still achieve promotion from Division Four following yesterday's win over London at a cold Semple Stadium.

Creedon has challenged his players to win their remaining four matches as they target a return to Division Three.

Tipp face an uphill battle but Creedon remains optimistic. He said: “If we can go down and get a good performance against Clare (next weekend), anything can happen. Wicklow lost the first two games last year and got promoted.”

Tipp led by 1-6 to 0-3 at half-time, with Conor Sweeney netting in the 29th minute. George Hannigan added a second late goal for Tipp after Padraig McGoldrick had given London hope when he converted a 69th minute penalty.
