Ireland's Stephen Browne climbed into a share of seventh place going into the final round of the Toscana Open Italian Federation Cup but he still trails leader Mikael Lundberg by 10 strokes after the Swede shot a course record 62 at La Pavoniere Golf and Country Club in Tuscany.

Browne shot a three under par 68 to move to eight-under-par 205 and into a four-way tie for seventh but will need a sensational final round if he is to challenge for the title. Four birdies with just one dropped shot on the par-three eighth have, however, put him in the frame for a strong finish.

Lundberg's course record took him to 18-under-par 195 and seven clear of Finland's Toni Karjalainen.
