Glenville pitch and putt club achieved one of their ambitions at the weekend when they recorded their first win in the Skoda National Mixed Team Championship at the RGSC Club in Kingswood. The team of Bernie Kelly, Paddy Murphy, Teresa Birmingham and Michael Mahon combined for a total of 164 points which gave them a one-shot win over St Brigid's A with Bruff B and Erin's Isle taking the next two places. The halfway leaders were Erin's Isle with 85 points, two clear of St Brigid's and The Ranges from Cork. However, in the afternoon a magnificent 46 points from Mahon and Kelly, and 37 from Birmingham and Murphy took the Dublin club to the top of the leaderboard.
