Action Taken:

Appointment of National Referee Tutors: Tony Jordan, Tom Fitzpatrick, Aidan Shiels (all Dublin); Jim Joe Landers (Waterford); Weeshie Fogarty (Kerry); Tom O'Doherty (Galway); Tommy Moran (Leitrim); John Gough (Antrim); John McGlinchey (Derry).

Two county referee tutors have been chosen from each of the 32 counties and are now being trained.

In February, March and April of next year, courses will be organised in 32 counties for new referees and referees' assessors.

A range of materials - five manuals, overhead transparencies and promotional posters - have been prepared.
