Madam, - Just a note to all those involved in marketing, promoting, advertising or commenting on SSIA accounts: please stop talking about "SSIA windfalls". A windfall is any unexpected money - a lottery win, an inheritance from an unknown relative, etc. It is not the money in your savings account, accrued by you over a five-year period, albeit with a little added bonus from the Government.
It will hardly be a surprise to anyone that they have this money in their SSIA account. Unexpected it is not. - Yours, etc,
