Sir, - On the Stillorgan dual-carriageway, there is a series of signs warning the southbound motorist that Brewery Road is to become one-way. None of the signs indicate the direction in which the road will be one-way. The resulting confusion will no doubt be blamed on motorists.
Incidentally, if the southbound motorist wonders where Brewery Road is, there is no road sign visible.
Has the fact that Dublin motorists have become used to inadequate signposting convinced the authorities that is what they really want? - Yours, etc.,
