Sir, – In "Irish woman denies taking part in Isis military training" (News, April 8th), Lisa Smith is quoted as saying she that she "didn't do anything", "didn't do it" (unspecified), "didn't own a rifle", "didn't teach them anything", "didn't fight", "didn't listen to anyone" and "didn't take any advice".

What did she do all that time? She didn’t say.

If Isis had succeeded in its wicked plan, and not failed, would she be asking to come back? – Yours, etc,
