Madam, - While we cannot but be sympathetic to the Special Olympics teams from China and other SARS-affected countries who may not now be able to travel to Ireland to participate in this memorable event, I would like to point out that very little sympathy or publicity surrounded the cancellation of the participation of the Iraqi Special Olympics team one week into the American invasion of their country. - Yours, etc.,
