Sir, – I note that Denmark is the first country in the world to impose a “fat tax” on a number of food products (Finance, October 4th). Could I suggest Ireland now leads the way by imposing a “fat-cat tax” that would provide a kitty to help fund a way out of the current economic crisis? – Yours, etc,
