Corbyn’s Labour

Sir, – Ronan Scanlan writes (Letters, September 12th) that since becoming Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn has “lost his party two national elections”.

This news came as a great surprise to me in light of the fact that since Mr Corbyn became leader of the Labour party there has been just one general election in the UK – in 2017. – Yours, etc,

CHRISTOPHER
