Madam, - Recent articles and correspondence have raised the issue of balance in your newspaper's reporting on America. The Irish Times is published for a liberal readership, but Americans are dancing to an altogether different tune - one that is clearly resented by your readers.
As for Mark Steyn, we in the United States and Canada may enjoy his comedic columns but we certainly do not regard him as spokesperson for the American right. Your readers will have to look elsewhere if they wish to understand the conservative mood in America. - Yours, etc.,
