Sir, - Hats off to the Attorney General, Mr Michael McDowell, for having the courage to express legitimate criticism of Sinn Féin and to ask hard questions concerning that party's attitude to democracy in Ireland. These are concerns that many of us feel inhibited to express and the questions are those that the media were supposed to ask when Section 31 of the Broadcasting Act was repealed, but have manifestly failed to ask. - Yours, etc.,
