Sir, – I fully accept the need to repair the creaking infrastructure of our public water system, as well as the need to install new distribution piping for natural gas. I patiently endure the traffic delays when contractors of any ilk are engaged on these projects.
Would it be too much to ask for them to restore our roads to something approaching usability instead of the series of trenches of varying depths that criss-cross our towns and cities to the detriment of all road users? – Yours, etc,
