The Irish Times - Letters to the Editor.

Sir, – What are they doing? Nelson’s Pillar, the Bovril sign, and now the 46A, beloved of song (News, November 24th). When will these far-reaching changes stop? In my time, I’ve seen the end of fleece-lined suede car-coats. Could the finger of Old Father Time be pointed at the Merrion Gates? It’s all too much. – Yours, etc,

KEN BUGGY,

Ballyduff Upper,

Co Waterford.
