Sir, – A tale of two festivals: 10 lanes of vehicles stretching as far as the eye can see across the cloying mud of the desert, as 70,000 people endure the exodus traffic jams from Burning Man; versus the photograph on the front page of The Irish Times (September 5th) of some of the 70,000 people happily walking in sunshine leaving the Electric Picnic.
