Sir, – During a busy morning, with the radio in the background, it is very difficult to try and catch traffic items that apply to yourself. Could RTÉ please outline the area of difficulty first and then list what the difficulty is? For example, “M50, Junction 12, traffic slow on approach”, instead of “Traffic slow on approach, M50, Junction 12.”
By the time you realise that the item applies to yourself, you have missed what the problem is.
Some presenters do this already, but most do not, and the traffic segment itself is very short. – Yours, etc,
