Two teenagers have been barred from entering Co Donegal after an incident involving the ramming of a Garda car

Two teenagers have been barred from entering Co Donegal after an incident involving the ramming of a Garda car. The suspects appeared at Letterkenny District Court yesterday, charged with criminal damage and theft.

They cannot be named because of their age. The mother of one of the juveniles wept during the hearing.

Both juveniles were charged at Buncrana Garda station with theft and criminal damage after an incident at an Eircom depot in Bridgend in Donegal in which a police car was rammed and two officers slightly injured.

Solicitors Patsy Gallagher and Frank Dorrian, for the two juveniles, agreed that their clients would stay out of Donegal except for court appearances. They were remanded on bail to appear before Buncrana District Court on February 14th.
