A woman has died in a house fire that broke out in a house on Millbrook Terrace, Kilmainham, shortly before 10.30 a.m. today.
The woman, who was in her mid forties, was rescued from the house but died a short time later in hospital.
She is said to have suffered severe burns. Gardaí said they were not treating the fire as suspicious.
The victim's name has not yet been released.
