Mr Michael Magner (21), from Gleaquinn, Ballagh, Co Limerick, won the World Irish Coffee Making Championship. He was presented with a £1,000 and the Shannon Crystal Irish Coffee Trophy.
The winner represented the Woodlands Hotel, Adare, and opposition from hotels, and restaurants through about Europe.
