Quite a hooley this: Waterford's Spraoi is an international festival of street performance taking place all over the city during the bank holiday weekend. Hundreds of individuals and groups from all over the world will be converging on the streets and squares to show off their wares, including Jumpin' Jason Maverick, Weapons Of Sound (who play everything including the kitchen sink), Latin American percussionists Otra Vez and Black Umfolosi who are a Zulu acappella group. Whatever you do, don't miss the main parade tomorrow which features 167 performers, floats, a son et lumiere extravaganza, live music and an array of special effects. And it's all free.
