Two men who died in a road crash in Dublin over the weekend have been named.

Two men who died in a road crash in Dublin over the weekend have been named.

Cyclist Thomas Masterson (61) of Raheny and motorist Barry Dunne (23) of Howth died following a crash on Howth Road, near its junction with Offington, shortly after 3am yesterday.

A car and a taxi collided before the cyclist was struck.

Five people who were travelling in the taxi were taken to the Beaumont and Mater hospitals for treatment.
