Gardaí have named the victim of yesterday's fatal shooting in Dunboyne, Co Meath.
He was Sumbo Owoiya (17) of The Court, Dunboyne Castle, Dunboyne, Co Meath.
Sumbo died shortly after being shot at the Court Apartments complex at 1.30am yesterday morning. His attackers fired a shot through the door of one of the apartments.
He was taken to James Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown where he later died.
Gardaí are still questioning two people in relation to the shooting. The two were arrested yesterday evening and are being held under section 30 of the offences against the State Act.
According to gardaí Sumbo Owoiya was not sought by them in relation to any alleged incident or investigation as reported in various media reports yesterday.
