US Capitol building evacuated over fire
The Capitol building in Washington DC has been evacuated.
Details are incomplete at this stage, but it appears the alarm was raised when smoke was spotted on the fourth floor of the building.
A number of firetrucks are on the scene.
The last time the Capitol was evacuated was during the September 11th attacks last year. Terrorism is not suspected at this stage.
The complex houses US Government offices, as well as the Library of Congress.
