They discovered 75kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of €900,000 and approximately 10,000 tablets that gardaí suspect of being a controlled substance, during the search of a dwelling in Rathcoole, Co Dublin.

The estimated total value of the seizure is €950,000.

Two men aged 49 and 34 were arrested and taken to Clondalkin Garda station where they were being held last night.

The seizure was as a result of an intelligence-led investigation by officers from Revenue’s Customs Service based at Dublin Port and the Garda National Drugs Unit, with assistance from Tallaght and Store Street Garda stations.
