Two men remain in Garda custody today after being arrested for allegedly withholding information about the murder of Dundalk mother-of-three Irene White.
The two men, aged 43 and 34, were arrested yesterday and are being detained at Kells Garda Station in Co Meath under the Offences Against the State Act, 1939.
Ms White (43) was found stabbed to death over a year ago at her home in Demesne Road, Dundalk, in April 2005.
She was in her kitchen when her attacker broke into the house and stabbed her. Her body was found by her mother.

It is understood gardaí do not believe robbery was the primary motive in the murder.
The murder weapon was never recovered, and these are the first arrests since the killing.
