Gardai are investigating the circumstances in which a man was killed after being struck by a truck at Innishannon near Bandon, Co Cork yesterday morning. The man, who is in his 20s, is thought to come from Cork City. A post mortem will be held in Bandon today.
A man in his 20s was fatally injured in a car accident in Limerick yesterday morning. The accident happened at a level-crossing near Rosbrien, Co Limerick at around 3.30 a.m. He was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital, where he died some hours later.
