Two youths have been arrested after firefighters were attacked by stonethrowers when they tried to put out a bonfire in north Belfast.

The fire crew were called to the scene at Florence Court off the Crumlin Road.

A number of youths were standing around the bonfire. The firefighters decided not to put it out, but were attacked with stones as they left the scene.

There were no injuries, but there was significant damage to the fire engine.
