Trinity College Dublin is to buy the IDA Enterprise Centre in Pearse Street, for which £3.5 million in grant aid has been allocated towards the project. The Minister for Education, Mr Martin, said the acquisition of the site would allow TCD to expand its campus companies, in which it had a very strong track record.
The overall cost of the project would be £10.5 million and TCD would raise the outstanding funds through contributions from the private sector and rental income from lettable properties.
