Security company Top Security Group has acquired IT security firm Systemhouse Technology Group in a deal worth over €7 million.
Top Security recently launched an IT security division with services that include 24-hour monitoring of critical systems and web and e-mail content monitoring.
Systemhouse provides anti-virus solutions and other IT security products and services.
Mr Emmet O'Rafferty will be chairman of Systemhouse, and Top Security have also appointed former BDO Simpson Xavier partner Mr Paddy McSwiney to the board. Mr Dermot Williams will continue in his role as chief executive of Systemhouse.
