A man who caused the death of a father of four in a headon collision on the East Link toll bridge in Dublin has been jailed for three years. William McNally was on medication for severe depression at the time and had drunk at least seven pints of beer before the crash.

McNally (45), of Griffith Avenue, Dublin, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to dangerous driving causing the death of Mr Anthony O'Toole on July 29th, 1995.
