Houston - Six critically ill patients died last weekend after flooding in the wake of Tropical Storm Allison cut power supply to a hospital in Houston's medical district, officials said.

The deaths at Methodist Hospital raised to 10 the number of critically ill patients who reportedly died in blacked-out Houston hospitals at the weekend. The six who died at Methodist Hospital were extremely ill.
