Telecom executive resigns

The chief executive of British Telecom Northern Ireland, Ms Lucy Woods, has resigned. It is understood she is to take up a new post with a US competitor in Europe. A spokesman for the Independent Commission on Policing, of which Ms Woods is a member, said it would not affect her role as a commissioner.
