Geneva - Guides who survived the Swiss canyoning disaster are facing criminal charges, officials have said. The five could be charged with negligent homicide after locals claimed organisers of the river expedition ignored storm warnings, Swiss officials said. Altogether 21 people are thought to have died in the disaster. Three Adventure World guides were among those killed when a torrent of water engulfed the group as they body-rafted the river.
