United Nations - The Italian actress Claudia Cardinale, on her first visit to the United Nations, has called for action against the use of child soldiers.
In remarks to reporters, she noted this was the 10th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and said the best way to celebrate it would be to move from making declarations to taking action.
