HONG KONG - Hong Kong visa requirements for most foreigners will be largely unchanged after China takes over the colony from Britain next week, but there will be some tightening for Britons, immigration officials said yesterday. Under colonial rule, Britons were able to stay for any purpose for up to a year. But from July 1st, the visa-free period for British tourists will be shortened to six months.
