SIPTU members in Dublin Bus are to consider a Labour Court proposal to resolve the dispute over new routes and rosters at the Harristown depot at a meeting tomorrow.
The strike by Dublin Bus drivers has caused travel chaos to 60,000 commuters since the action began on Monday in a dispute over rosters for two new routes. Services across north and west Dublin have been affected by the picket.
Both sides separately attended the Labour Court today to discuss their grievances.
Chairman of the Labour Court, Kevin Duffy, held exploratory talks with management and trade union chiefs earlier in the week.
In a statement this evening Siptu said tomorrow's meeting would be held at noon in Liberty Hall.
"The Court has told us it will issue a document later this evening and, in the expectation that it will help us resolve the dispute, I have decided to call a meeting for all SIPTU members at Harristown in Liberty Hall on Sunday", said branch organiser Willie Noone.
Workers claim their working day could be lengthened as they would have to begin or end it in the city centre.
The main areas hit by the strike have been Finglas, Swords, Ballymun, Blanchardstown, Donabate, Portrane, Dunboyne, Little Pace, Tyrrellstown, Damastown, Portmarnock, Kinsealy and Kilmore.
