Shelbourne recorded an emphatic 5-1 victory over 10-man Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds this afternoon.

Jim Crawford put Pat Fenlon’s side ahead in the 29th minute and the league champions held that lead at half-time.

Bray striker Jason Byrne drew the sides level in the 59th minute but Barry Prenderville put the visitors back in front four minutes later.

David Crawley then slotted home from the spot, after Eddie Gormley conceded the penalty and was sent from the field in the 71st minute. Stuart Byrne and Mark Roberts added a late strike each to complete the rout.
