Shelbourne extended their lead over Bohemians at the top of eircom League Premier Division with a 2-0 win over Drogheda United at Tolka Park tonight.
While Shels held strong, their nearest rivals Bohs stumbled to a 1-1 draw against Longford at Dalymount Park and lost ground on the league leaders.
Shels are now four points clear at the top.
