Seven people have been wounded in a number of stabbing incidents across Ireland overnight.
In Dublin, a man in his 20s was seriously injured when he was stabbed in a hotel near Croke Park.
He was taken to the Mater Hospital where his condition is said to be critical.
Elsewhere, five people were wounded in a fight in Newcastlewest, Co Limerick.
It is understood the row broke out between a group of Lithuanian men at around 2.30am as they were on their way to a house party.
All five men were taken to the Mid Western Regional Hospital.
Meanwhile, two men have been arrested in connection with an attack on a 36-year-old man in Ballymena, Co Antrim.
The victim was stabbed a number of times in the back during a row on a garage forecourt at around 2.00am this morning. He is understood to be in a stable condition in hospital.
