A second bomb alert has caused major disturbances in Northern Ireland today.

The RUC discovered the suspect devise on the railway track at a Boyd’s Bridge about two miles from the village of Dunloy, Co Antrim.

Roads in the area have been closed off for the foreseeable future and motorists have been asked to avoid the area, a RUC spokesman said.

Meanwhile British army bomb experts continue to work on a suspect device found on the track at Finaghy, just outside Belfast.
