A bomb ripped through a coffee shop in Lebanon's largest Palestinian refugee camp today, causing damage but no injuries, Palestinian security sources said.

An explosion had rocked the same coffee shop in the Ain al-Hilweh camp last month. The shop is owned by a member of Palestinian President Yasser Arafat's Fatah faction.

It was the latest in a string of bombings in the camp, near the southern port city of Sidon, where tensions have run high since Islamic militants clashed with fighters loyal to Fatah in August, leaving three people dead.

Lebanese politicians hostile to some 350,000 Palestinian refugees registered in about a dozen camps across Lebanon say Ain el-Hilweh is a haven for militants and organised crime.
