An air and sea search is taking place off the coast of Co Kerry after a car was found abandoned on Rossbeigh beach near Killorglin.
Gardai received a report of a missing person shortly after the car was discovered at around 7pm this evening.
Both the Valentia and Dingle lifeboats and the Shannon-based coastguard helicopter are at the scene.
