RTÉ and farmer Mr James Howard have been awarded costs in the libel appeal by Fianna Fáil TD Ms Beverley Cooper-Flynn.
Ms Cooper-Flynn lost her appeal in the Supreme Court after a two-day hearing in February and a judgment yesterday. She already faces a legal bill of an estimated €2 million for the High Court libel action.
Her lawyers did not oppose the application for costs this morning.
