Three men were arrested yesterday after a rooftop protest at Belfast City Hall to demand the release of republican prisoners

Three men were arrested yesterday after a rooftop protest at Belfast City Hall to demand the release of republican prisoners. As crowds looked on, RUC officers using ladders removed the men from the roof above the entrance hall.

The protest was organised by the republican prisoners' group, Saoirse.
