Mr Denis Riordan, a college lecturer who was jailed by the Supreme Court on Friday last after refusing to withdraw a claim that the three judges on the bench were corrupt, is still in prison with no indication as to when he may seek to be freed.
Mr Riordan (55), of Clonconane, Redgate, Limerick, is a lecturer at Limerick Institute of Technology.
Proceedings in relation to a £48,000 costs bill Mr Riordan has received from the State were listed for hearing yesterday before a Taxing Master of the High Court, Mr Charles Moran. However, when the case was called, it was stated Mr Riordan was still incarcerated and proceedings were adjourned until Monday.
