Atmosphere: Orchestral manoeuvres in the daylight as the act which brought the biggest number of people onstage with them over the entire festival got today's shenanigans underway

High: Here's the story. The Trinity Orchestra, which is peopled by students from Trinity College in Dublin, cover Daft Punk.

Simple as. Daft Punk's great Discovery album done with strings, funky guitars, singers and backing vocalists. And it's a blast, a show which flies as high as a kite and keeps the audience soaring.

Low: we just wish the Orchestra had been sporting motorcycle helmets a la Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel and Thomas. Now that would have been trippy.

Quote:
Can you feel it?

Verdict: at a festival where people seem to be here more to rave than rock, this Orchestra struck all the right notes.
