A PSNI officer was injured tonight in a spate of unrest in Co Armagh after two men were arrested.
Officers came under attack from petrol bombs and other missiles in Market Street, Lurgan shortly after taking the two men into custody.
The first man was arrested after he was spotted acting suspiciously near a bank in the town.
A car drove off from the area and was chased by police. The car collided with other vehicles in North Street before being abandoned by the driver, who ran off. Police officers pursued the man on foot and arrested him a short distance away.
A suspicious object was discovered by police shortly afterwards in the garden of the home in the nearby Lake Street.
As the scene was sealed off, a number of youths gathered in the area and began to hurl missiles including a number of petrol bombs at police.
